GAMING LICENSE REQUIRED: Class III B GRADE: 4 / $11.513 STATUS: Hourly POSITION REPORTS TO: Room Chef, Steward Supervisor, Asst. Executive Steward, Executive Steward
JOB SUMMARY: Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment, keeping the dish area and equipment clean and organized.

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS (required/preferred):
Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required/preferred):
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and present a well groomed appearance.
Must have efficient, organized, and healthy work habits.
Ability to comprehend and follow oral and/or written instruction.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Knowledge of or ability to learn sanitation policies and procedures.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; chemicals and extreme temperature changes; moving mechanical parts.
Some essential functions of the job will be performed within a smoking environment.
