JOB TITLE: VGD Supervisor 

 

GAMING LICENSE REQUIRED:  Class III A         

GRADE:  13 / 23.678

STATUS:  Hourly             

SYSTEM TITLE:   VGD Supervisor

POSITION REPORTS TO:  VGD Shift Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY: Assists the VGD Shift Manager in the administration of the VGD Department during their shift and undertakes the duties of the VGD Shift Manager in their absence. Directly supervises employees assigned to shift. Interacts closely with other department in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino
  2. Assists VGD Shift Manager with the control and issuance of Jackpot Payout Tickets.
  3. Responsible for VGD malfunctions, customer complaints and VGD player service during assigned shift.
  4. Observes VGD machine play and examines machines for use of illegal gaming.
  5. Assists VGD Shift Manger in determining staffing, scheduling, disciplinary and other personnel needs.
  6. Authorizes jackpots and fills.
  7. Performs the functions of a VGD Attendant as needed.
  8. Trains staff on casino and departmental policies and procedures.
  9. Responsible for counseling and training staff members.
  10. Undertakes the duties of the VGD Shift Manager in their absence.
  11. Create, maintain and facilitate a positive work environment
  12. Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor.
  13. Performs other tasks/duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required and preferred):

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • The ability to handle working in a high-pressure environment with speed, accuracy and efficiency in a professional manner.
  • Enforces casino and departmental policies and procedures. 
  • Maintains strong communications within the department.
  • One-year previous supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Six months working as a VGD Dual Rate Supervisor required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successuly perform the essential duties of this job.

  • Must be able to crouch down and lift equipment up to fifteen (15) lbs.
  • Manual and finger dexterity needed to handle small hand tools.
  • Must be able to work on feet and stand for 10 hours or more per shift.
