Overview

JOB TITLE:  Table Games Dealer 

 
GAMING LICENSE REQUIRED:   Class III A.
GRADE:  $11.000
STATUS:   Hourly
POSITION REPORTS TO:  TG Floor Supervisor

 

JOB SUMMARY:  Conducts and controls the assigned game according to the Casino and Departmental Policies and Procedures; ensures that the proper amount of chip’s are issued during a buy-in from a guest and that proper payoffs are made. 

Responsibilities

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The statements describe the general nature and level of work only.  They are not an exhaustive list of all required responsibilities, duties, and skills.  Other duties may be added, or this description amended at any time.

  1. Conducts the assigned game according to departmental policies and procedures.
  2. Handles guest transactions for buy-ins and payoffs.
  3. Verifies fills and credits to game.
  4. Notifies Floor Supervisor of any irregularities noted in guest play and of other transactions during shift.
  5. Performs a high level of Guest Service.
  6. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required/preferred):

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent recommended.
  • Minimum one (1) year dealing experience preferred.
  • Must proficiently deal two (2) or more games listed:
    Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Midi Baccarat, Fortune Pai Gow, Caribbean Stud, Three Card, Ultimate Texas Hold’em

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION: 

  • Good dexterity and some math skills. 
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement tasks given. 
  • Excellent guest service skills a must!
  • Must be able to work swing, graveyard, weekends and holidays.

  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.

WORK ENVIORNMENT:

  • Essential functions of the job will be performed within a smoking environment.
  • Monitored by surveillance cameras.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
