JOB SUMMARY: Generate casino revenue through development of VIP accounts while maximizing existing revenue streams utilizing the Casino’s active databases and implementing creative marketing programs.


MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The statements describe the general nature and level of work only. They are not an exhaustive list of all required responsibilities, duties, and skills. Other duties may be added, or this description amended at any time.

  1. Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.
  2. Cater to Asian gaming guests with a specific focus on Mandarin speaking guests.
  3. Maintain applicable player accounts with special attention to details.
  4. Maintain relationships with VIP players through personal contact by phone, and in person with the ultimate goal of maximizing gaming revenue goals as set by the management team.
  5. Engage in telemarking to identify worthy gamers to invite to future events on or off property.
  6. Fortify player relationships by being present and accessible on the floor and participating in property events and promotional activities
  7. Make prudent decisions, within company/department policies and procedures, regarding player’s accounts, comps, and offerings.
  8. Ensure VIP players are informed of special events in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure all VIP show ticket requests are secured and communicated.
  10. Enroll new potential guests into the Players Club program by performing an assigned amount of new sign ups bi-weekly through mobile enrollment software and fully explaining the benefits of being a rated guest.
  11. Cultivate advantageous relationships that entice incremental trips to the casino form existing guests and build the gaming worth of assigned player base.
  12. Investigate player preferences and track for future follow up.
  13. Resolve disputes and complaints by using independent judgement based on company /department policies and procedures.
  14. Perform tasks assigned during promotion or special event.
  15. Maintain advanced level knowledge of the property, event calendar and promotions to assist guests with inquiries.
  16. Establish, coordinate, lead or assist in other projects and handle job tasks as deemed appropriate, needed and/or assigned.
  17. Communicate and consistently interact professionally with other departments ensuring the highest level of service for VIP gaming guests.
  18. Answer and respond to all calls on the Casino issued mobile phone while on shift.
  19. Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to continuously improve VIP Guest service.
  20. Create, maintain and facilitate a positive work environment
  21. Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor.
  22. Perform other duites as assigned.




  • High School Diploma or GED required. College Degree preferred.
  • Four (4) years gaming/hospitality experience in Guest Service related position required.
  • Two (2) years specific casino host and/or player development experience required.


  • Communicate fluently in Mandarin.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of maintaining, growing and cultivating new or existing gaming guests.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of CMP (or related) player tracking system.
  • Applicable knowledge of PCET or related entertainment and ticketing software.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
  • Read, Write, Speak English fluently
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Demonstrate a systematic and process oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end guest experiences.
  • Effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer/PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and other position related systems.
  • Maintain composure in high-stress circumstance; maintain strictest confidence regarding all guest information.
  • Flexible to work any scheduled shift and/or days, including weekends, holidays and overnights.
  • Present a well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.

  • Frequently required to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to thirty pounds (30 lbs.); occasionally more with our without assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Essential functions of the job will be performed within a smoking environment.
  • Monitored by surveillance cameras.
  • Use of cellular telephone to be in constant contact with department.
