    POSITION REPORTS TO:  Marketing Director


    JOB SUMMARY: Manages all casino Entertainment and Audiovisual operations both internally and externally. Operating, scheduling and maintenance of Casino distributed AV systems, Club Galaxy lighting, audio, video, digital signage and related systems.  Manages the booking process with booking agents/promoters in relation to negotiating price, rider review/approval, transportation, backline rental, load in and out & execution of show.




      1. Practice, support and promote the Vision, Mission and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.
      2. Direct and manage the creative, developmental, production, administrative, and operational aspects of the Entertainment Department.
      3. Oversee, plan, and coordinate the day‑to‑day activities and long range plans for the Entertainment Department and applicable venues.
      4. Monitor entertainment results and coordinates necessary adjustments on nightly/weekly/monthly booking schedules.
      5. Supervise full time and on-call team members to include, but not limited to: instructing; assigning, reviewing, and planning work of staff; maintaining standards; coordinating activities; allocating personnel; selecting new team members; acting on team member concerns; recommending and approving team member promotions; transfers, corrective action, and discharge. 
      6. Coordinate entertainment invoices and payments on a weekly basis.
      7. Establish, maintain, implement, and improves departmental operational procedures and policies and training programs; and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all departmental manuals, SOPs, checklists, fact books, etc. 
      8. Develop and manage the department operating budget and projections.
      9. Manage and approves the procurement of supplies and the maintenance of departmental inventory. 
      10. Plan, coordinate, supervise auditions, rehearsals, install, and strike for all show productions to ensure show quality and manage/support the execution of all Events. 
      11. Organize entertainment reports to provide brief and comprehensive reference for the Marketing Director.
      12. Participate in the financial operating and capital planning processes on Entertainment and makes recommendations that attain desired financial results.
      13. Apply and maintain industry standards and best practices for Entertainment Department.
      14. Manage all aspects of entertainment and entertainment personnel under the direction of the Marketing Director to include: booking, scheduling, load in /load out, hotel booking for entertainment lodging, transportation, issuance of food coupons, rehearsal times, dressing rooms maintenance, set times, payment of entertainment and other duties as assigned. Review and process contracts and entertainers’ rider.
      15. Maintain and enforces strict safety standards.
      16. Recommend modifications or replacement of equipment to efficient systems operation and ultimate guest satisfaction.
      17. Monitor and archive nightly performance reports and show rating sheets.
      18. Schedules and coordinates all production for larger shows as well as logistical support of outside vendors for such shows.
      19. Frequently assess equipment functionality and schedule preventive maintenance and emergency repair on electrical and mechanical stage systems including consoles, spotlights, electronic dimmers, closed circuit television, recording equipment, and related devices. Generate records of technical systems performance
      20. Schedule Casino AV system check-ups on a daily basis for optimum system performance and maximum guest comfort. Contacting vendors when necessary.
      21. Operate distributed audio and video systems and generates logs of requests and adjustments for reference.
      22. Record, edit and schedule promotional / informational messages for Casino digital announcement system.
      23. Manage business relationships with outside vendors such as booking agents, promoter, A/V vendors, digital signage vendors, ticket vendors.
      24. Manage Box Office ticket scheduling, content creation and distribution dates & times.
      25. Manage digital signage content and audio scheduling, distribution and preventive maintenance.
      26. Manage the planning, design, and purchase to installation on casino wide screen innovation.
      27.  Operate Virtual Reality Gaming from calibrating system, start up, execute game changes, coordinate upgrades, troubleshooting and executing.  
      28. Make adjustments on casino PA in the Audio Architect software
      29. Coordinate with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
      30. Conduct crew calls for outside labor as required and ensure compliance of all casino policy and procedures for work performed by such personnel.
      31. Design systems and equipment related to Casino Operations approved by the Marketing Director.
      32. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all systems in the nightclub including Virtual Reality Game.
      33. Arrange for receipt and storage of advance show materials and operational supplies from the entertainment.
      34. Create, maintain and facilitate a positive work environment.
      35. Smile and engage guests and team members with a positive professional demeanor.
      36. Perform other duties as assigned.




    • Ten (10) years + of experience in the maintenance, and operation of electronic and digital sound systems, stage systems, and stage lighting equipment in a casino, theater or other large public assembly facility, supplemented by college or college level education in audio/video, electronics or communications engineering required. A combination of equitable experience and education may be considered in lieu of experience level requirement.
    • Large venue experience in Sound & Light reinforcement (greater than 2,000 seat capacity venues) required.




    • Regularly required to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms; stoop, squat, kneel, bend, climb stairs , climb ladders/rigs, balance, or crouch, and talk or hear.
    • Manual dexterity for operation of department equipment, personal computer, telephone, general office tools and routine paperwork.
    • Move 100 pounds (100 lbs.), occasionally more, with or without assistance.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.




    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of principles and practices of entertainment and staff management.
    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of entertainment booking, scheduling and club operations experience.
    • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
    • Demonstrate ability to simultaneously manage and organize multiple projects with speed and accuracy.
    • Demonstrate basic understanding of current OHSA requirements.
    • Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and knowledge.
    • Exhibit strong planning, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking, managerial and communication skills.
    • Demonstrate ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure and deescalate conflict situations.
    • Demonstrate advanced computerized audio, video and lighting through networked systems experience.
    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge, skill and experience with the following:
      • Distributed AV and control systems design, integration and operation. .

      • Digital Sound Reinforcement systems with Digital Mixing Consoles (Yamaha, Midas, Digidesign, Soundcraft and Digico), digital system controllers (EAW, BSS, Dolby Lake) and acoustic and measurement software (Smaart, SpectraFoo, Easera Systune) linked to networked systems.

      • Computerized lighting programs on Hog, MA and Avolites systems knowledge.

      • Remote audio control systems operations.

      • Digital light pre-programming for conventional as well as automated High End, PR, Martin, Robe and Clay Paky light fixtures.

      • Sound & Light theory as well as application in real time environments.

      • Procedures and techniques required for the installation and maintenance of stage lighting and electronic sound system equipment.

    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of preventative maintenance on audio, video and lighting system components for maximum longevity and service scheduling.

    • Demonstrate skill and efficiently using electrical and mechanical equipment including tools, test devices, and safety methods associated with such equipment for maintaining and testing complex systems.

    • Demonstrate contract negotiating skills.

    • Demonstrate routing skills.

    • Demonstrate experience with booking and scheduling Asian entertainment acts; specifically Chinese, Vietnamese and Cambodian .

    • Demonstrate knowledge of local bands and acts.
