    JOB TITLE:  Busser

    GAMING LICENSE REQUIRED:  Class III B

    GRADE:  $11.50

    STATUS:  Hourly

    POSITION REPORTS TO:  F&B Supervisor

     

    JOB SUMMARY:  Restocks and replenishes food service supplies, assists wait-staff, and removes and resets tables.

    Responsibilities

    MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The statements describe the general nature and level of work only. They are not an exhaustive list of all required responsibilities, duties, and skills. Other duties may be added, or this description amended at any time.

    1. Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.
    2. Clear and reset tables.
    3. Fill water and serve coffee.
    4. Restock the condiment shelves as needed.
    5. Assist the wait staff as requested.
    6. Keep floor area and seats clean and presentable at all times.
    7. Create, maintain and facilitate a positive work environment.
    8. Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor
    9. Performs other tasks/duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS (required/preferred):

    • Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required/preferred):

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 

    SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

    • Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
    • Must be able to follow specific instructions.
    • Entry level training provided for candidates who demonstrate passion for guest service; motivation to learn; and a professional demeanor

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  The physical requirements described herein are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.

    • Regularly required to stand; walk; crouch, bend, kneel, stoop, balance, squat, twist, climb stairs, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
    • Regularly required to lift and/or move, push/pull up to thirty pounds (30 lbs.), occasionally more with our without assistance.
    • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • Some essential functions of the job performed within a smoking environment.
    • Monitored by surveillance cameras.
